Handwoven shawl

This thick warm shawl made with 3 ply yarn will keep you warm through the winter months. The yarn for this shawl was spun in a small spinning mill in South East Estonia and handwoven in a small weaving mill in our local village of Ergli. The warp is from our own white alpacas mixed with lambswool for strength and the weft is pure alpaca for extra warmth. The dark brown detail is a mix of Ilvija's and Josef's fleece. You can read more of the story of the shawl here (link)
